The Newark Bears let off steam before going to the showers, after having defeated the Columbus Red Birds, American Association Champions, 10-4, to win the Little World Series at Columbus, Ohio, October 7th, 1937. The Bears came from behind, winning four straight, after the Red Birds had defeated them in the first three.
